Would Be Ghost Haunting

On July 29, for a little more than an hour, a courthouse security camera showed a round, translucent, white object that seemed to 'walk' up and down a set of stairs inside the newer wing of the courthouse. A security officer first saw the strange light on a delayed video and then live on the video system. 'I've seen it so many times, it's not funny. Part of the courthouse dates to 1860,newer half constructed in 1969 on top of a former cemetery. Some courthouse employees said the anomaly on the video confirmed what they believed - that the courthouse is haunted. Said they have heard strange noises such as doors opening and closing when they were alone in the building."

Why Kerry Is Fit to Be President

I feel I have to agree with what I have read above. As for Mr. Bush I have had about as much as I want to take anymore, with broken promises that never happen or help the working folks.

No Apologizes For Bush-Bashing

Okay I can see their abit upset because of the high profile Movie it was shown in, but look at all the papers they probley sold now because of all the issues with -9/11 Book and Movie on the market. Or are they really upset because they feel they should of got a- $$ * fee * for the news-paper that was used with their name on it? Who Knows!!

Same Sex Marriages

I have to say I really feel sorry for all the couples that now learn that they are not married anymore, Why because they were told it was okay to do this and they did. Some of them bought homes together,had children and all kinds odd different things.I personally feel that the ones who are already married should be allowed to stay that way, it's not their fault somebody passed a law then toke it away. Why should they be punished? p.s. - I am a straight female, but believe everyone has the right to choose how they want to live their own life.

Nude Boaters Stop Traffic

Authorities warned physicians not to prescribe Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa and similar drugs to depressed children. Given the risks,some may want to officially discouraging the use of antidepressants for children. Found the risk of suicidal behavior varied widely among the drugs and between different trials of the same drug."

What is the most frightening about all this talk on depression drugs, beside a lot of Adults are taking these pills too!! We don't know how its going to effect our children, because we put them on it to help make their life's better for them and us.. So if these pills are effecting them in a negative way we sometimes never know. Unless they do something to make us see. Usually by this time its really bad or to late!! The hardest part as a parent myself, is what if its was to late? Scares me because I have children with mental-health Problems, the Doctors are always changing their Meds. For one reason or another at times, I feel what good are these pills? Then remember, life was hell before they went on them,. Now their zombies or just a bit better... But not much. As a parent you get to the point of wanting to just taking them off all Pills. Because you feel guilty making your child take a pill for the rest of their life. I told a Doctor this once, still feel this way and wonder why I even make my children take pills.. But I keep giving them those *Damn pills * Hoping.....

Poor Verses Rich In Idaho

the theory that Idaho's middle class is shrinking, incomes become more unevenly,government will have to step in and fill the gap for living necessities with programs such as Medicaid, food stamps and housing subsidies. If there are more poor people, then the state will spend more on poverty programs.Clark County along the Montana boarder, has the highest level of income.

Well I sure am living in the wrong part of the state according this this report,No wonder my pay-check falls short every month. And why our Homeless Shelters are always full. People can't make it if the miss one pay-check they become homeless. Never mind thinking about getting sick ...Remember Bush don't think we have a health care problem, least that's what he claims. Said he's giving us afford-able health care.. Ya I got some magic beans too wants buy them!! As far as I am concerned Removing Bush in November can't happen fast enough. Sooner we get Mr. Bush out of office, the better. Then maybe things will start to turn around for the poor work class. I know it won't happen over night but we have to start some where. I hope soon because the only thing we seem to be building in Idaho anymore are; Prisons & homeless shelters, do we really want that kind of world to live in? What Makes People Cheat ??

You may ask why did I post this?.. Well because of all the lieing going on in the News-Today... I don't understand a lot of whats happening in the world today, anymore the next person does, but I remember when growing up you just didn't think about telling a lie unless it was going to save you from a-butt whipping, then you prayed they never would find out. But today people roll a lie off their tongues like its nothing. It's sad ..we need all to start a change to this some-where, they only place I know is in your own homes. I tell my children I would rather know the truth and be a little mad, then to know they didn't have enough faith in me to tell me the truth. I also tell others I don't care if it hurts my feelings, at least... I know how they really feel. So-this is what I'm trying to doing in my life to change things. Five Now Dead From West Nile Virus

Haunted Barbie Doll

I had books, movies and a Happy Birthday Barbie that I had received from my grandmother for my birthday sitting on this shelf. We were watching a movie, and we heard the rustling sound again. Pushing the sound again as being my brothers mouse we went back to the movie. It wasn't until my little brother walked into my room with his mouse in his hands that we realized the rustling had to be something else. Red and I started looking around the room and at the same time our eyes fixed on the Happy Birthday Barbie that happened to be gliding along the shelf her dress brushing the top of the shelf. Freaked out I asked Red if she saw the barbie moving. She said,"Yes." Being the coward that I am I left the room as quick as I could, Red not far behind me. This is where it gets weird, and I promise this is the truth. Red and I were upstairs sitting on the couch finishing the movie we were watching on television. When we heard the rustling again. We both looked toward the kitchen where the sound was coming from and there sitting on the kitchen floor was the Happy Birthday Barbie that we had left sitting on the shelf in my room. The next morning the barbie found herself in the local garage sale. After that the rustling stopped and Red and I have never heard it again."

Second Teen Convicted in Egging

Washington Post: "Second Teen Convicted in Egging Son of Alexandria City Council Member Sentenced The teenage son of an Alexandria City Council member was found guilty yesterday of destruction of property for his role in an egging incident at the home of a parent-activist who was trying to have a School Board member removed from her position. After an hour-long trial, General District Court Chief Judge R.E. Giammittorio found Samuel Howard Woodson IV, 18, guilty of the misdemeanors and ordered him to pay a $250 fine, which was suspended upon completion of 25 hours of community service. While Giammittorio said there was no evidence that Woodson threw eggs at the house, he determined that Woodson aided and abetted the July 2 incident, an attorney for Woodson, argued that there was no evidence that his client had tossed any eggs."

I remember when I was a teenager, and a few kids I knew did that to someone and it was a mess,what's even worse is if its done to a car. Because it will ruin the paint on the car if you don't get it off right away.

Twinfalls Idaho Jail Dishonest about inmate Health

The Times-News Online; "Employee of the Twin Falls County jail, has raised my dander with his response blatantly false information Prisoners are denied medication. The reason given was The Twin Falls Idaho County commissioners did not want to pay for it. Regarding a tantrum that resulted in solitary confinement for one prisoner because they refused to buy his medication , which was the outcome of the total frustration of being unheard and ignored by those in authority."

I guess we don't really know what goes on when someone goes to jail or prison do we? Figured they are giving 3-meals a day and a warm bed, and if they had medical needs the state takes care of it, till their time is up. But it seems from this article, a lot more happens behind those steel doors than the public really knows. I have a friend who's daughter got the pleasure of spending some time in this jail and she claims: At the door where the prisoners enter to go to their cells their is this good size-sign, supposely on the wall, for all in-mates to read and it says...GOD STOPS HERE.... Well I guess human kindness does too!!
